Scholarships
KAFMO’s Waddington/Harper/McNitt Scholarship is named in the memory of Dr. Donald Waddington and Dr. John Harper and in honor of Dr. Andrew McNitt, three legends of the Penn State turf program. The scholarships are awarded to identify and recognize outstanding students who plan careers in sports turf management and to advance the student’s educational potential in the science of turfgrass management.
Qualifications:

Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university in an approved turfgrass program.

Must have completed a substantial portion of the requirements needed for graduation.

Must demonstrate an interest in sports turf management.

Encouraged to accept the scholarship in person at the Annual KAFMO Athletic Field Conference in February
